Guess the DHS has beginning to think most of the steel core ammo has been stored for use against them when and if.

Why is the Constitution a "living document" yet the Second Amendment is cut in stone and only applies to musket use in the 1700's militia?

You can possess it, just not "sell" it.

For now!

I wonder if they are gonna go the way of california. Where they had people register there "assault" rifles. And then went back later, changed the law again. And fined the folks with said weapons and confiscated them. Neighbor did jail time over that deal when he lived there.

They can try that stuff in California but I am here to tell you, the people I have talked to here in AZ will not take kindly to that type behavior.

A very high-up guy in the Maricopa County Sheriffs Dept told me the Administration is in for a rude awakening if they try any gun-grab monkey business here in AZ because the Sheriff will not enforce any of it. And, he will arrest any Feds in the state trying to enforce it.

It will trigger the next revolution. Plain and simple. I know a lot of people in or recently in the military and they are not happy with the moves by the Feds and feel as though our President may have committed crimes in support of our enemy. Not once, but frequently. Same with Federal LEOs.

Take this last stunt where Valerie Jarrett disarmed the Marines before they exited Yemen. That has never happened before in the history of the Marine Corps! They could all have been killed on the spot. I never thought I would live to witness a coup in this country but, the next 22 months may be the closest we have come to that eventuality.

I am just a crazy old coot who doesn't know diddly and I'll close before I go on another rant. These are very very serious times for our country. Every thing is literally at stake. Our currency is hopelessly and intentionally irreversibly debased. Few are aware of how serious the problems are because the mainstream media is in the current administration's back pocket, with many of them married to one another. When John and Jane Q wake up and realize what has gone on behind their backs, they will be outraged.

I used to think that pictures of newspaper publishers hanging from light poles was only something you see in third world countries. I see that possibility happening in this country, and soon, unless the media wakes up and realizes they have hitched their wagon to one of the four horses of the apocolypse.

I hope I am wrong but, every day the truth that leaks out and is far worse than any of us ever imagined.

Ray I to have spoken to ex military, some were family, and it would seem that a while back a survey was asked of them, if they could/would fire on Americans in time of civil unrest. I know every one I spoke to said there's no way, but I'm sure there are those and you as well as I know whom of which I speak..
Will follow orders with out question even against their own countrymen.
But I digress, this is a tractor site and if I have offended any one, by my rant and political views, I do apologize

Skeets,

That survey was done of high-level leadership in the military -and it is why over 200 flag and 0-6 level officers were "purged" because they said "NO!"

We must not fall silent and let them win. They have characterized Truth as the new Hate Speech. If people look away, as was done in the late 30's in Germany, then we will go down the same path. And who will be there to save the US as the US saved the World in the 40's? China? Russia? Iran?

The Alinsky Method calls for calling the enemy "what you are." It puts them in defensive mode and it usually avoids discussion of the issue at hand. If you don't agree with the current administration, you are a "right-wing Tea Party nut job." If you see a threat in Islamo-facism, you are an "islamophobe." If you see problems with anthropomorphic climate change, you are a low-intelligence "troglodyte" many are seriously suggesting should be arrested. And, if you disagree with immunization, you are branded a "flat earther" despite both Democratic candidates speaking out against forced immunization in 2008. Notice a trend here?

Unless we can openly discuss issue that are threatening our way of life and in many cases, our very existence, we will end up walking down that path to death at the hands of tyrannical government, as so many innocents have in the past. Our grand experiment with human liberty and freedom will be over.

The mere possibility of that happening offends me greatly.

It is only one type of ammo, but the principle is important- controlling arms through ammunition, and doing it by lying and executive order. The question is, as steam is picked up, what will be next? They are nibbling away at the 2nd amendment, one bite at a time.
I just bought my first AR, but haven't been shooting 855. I will be stocking up (reasonably) on range stuff before prices go through the roof.

We're all going to be called whacko's that respond on this thread of course,
but I think like the majority here and have always been a shameless patriot.
This is nothing but a soft tyranny end run around our constitution period. It's nothing but that make no mistake about it and part of fulfilling the liberal agenda nothing at all about this is new. Since Hillary wasn't able to fulfill her life long dream of gun control through the UN small arms treaty as planned which would null and void the constitution the same as a war treaty agreement would, the wheels have never stopped turning in that direction.
Without the 2nd amendment the rest of it is toast too as that's the only
power the people have and exactly why the founding fathers wrote it as they did. It had nothing to do with hunting as libtards try and twist it around to meaning because at that particular time hunting for food was as much a part of survival as taking a crap. It never entered their minds as it was a simple fact of life, but the war fought for freedom from tyranny was front and center as they lived it. "It shall not be infringed" is as simple of
way of saying it as plain as it can be put into words without question to their meaning. We're a constitutional republic NOT a democracy for a very good reason: all democracies throughout history failed right around the 200 year old mark if they survived that long. The reason they failed was because the government got so big and taxed everyone so much that they soon relied on the govt only until there was nobody left the feed the machine basically. Taxation to create entitlements sound familiar? Yep, just
look around and we see plenty of others willing to sit back and live off what we work hard to provide them. Of course the disease of liberalism erodes
society starting with education and we've created a whole bunch of sheeple
that are no longer accountable or responsible and shamelessly take as much as they possibly can. If you have $1 more than them they think you have to much and should share it regardless if it's the last dollar you have or not, give it up.

I hope everyone makes sure they have adequate supplies needed in case
SHTF. It's true that they got rid of a whole bunch of seasoned highly trained military personnel because they were unwilling to do what they were directed to do or knew it wouldn't work. It's why things are the way
they are in the middle east with Islamic extremist barbarians because the
administration doesn't want to get involved and they don't want to listen to those that know how to stop it. I do however put my trust and faith in our
countries military people, they're there to protect us and if you think for a
moment they're going to got to mom and dad's or uncle Jim's or cousin Bud's house and shoot them like jack booted thugs I'm pretty certain you're wrong. I know of some in now that have relayed what the consensuses is among the troops and how they've personally stock piled their own supplies that might be needed. They take their oath seriously and will defend America and it's citizens against all both foreign and domestic.
They know right from wrong and the majority are proud patriots to serve us. If I'm wrong god help us all,
Al

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class.

One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question.

He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.

The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food.

"When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.

"They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.

"The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths:

There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

Quote for today: "The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered."

Thought for the Day: Carl Marx said, "Remove one freedom per generation and soon you will have no freedom and no one will have noticed."
