Well here it is 1:08am on the 21st, and hour into the day the world was supposed to "end" again. I guess the Mayans missed the mark on that one. You'd think if they could predict the future they wouldn't be extinct!

10:41 here, no impending doom yet....
I never worried about the world ending, but I was somewhat concerned about some nutjob using the date as an excuse to start shooting people, or maybe an excuse to riot, loot, etc., but so far I'm pleased. Maybe most people are more civilized than I gave them credit for. But the day is still young....

My wife's cousin is a commercial pilot living in China. The 21st should be over there, and nothing happened (like it was going to really happen). That brings up a quandry- which timezone was it supposed to happen in?

I would vote for the time zone the Myans lived in, well the time zone that would have been where they lived if we had the concept of, and the implementation of time zones back then...
