2025 - B26 HST Pump Failure

Not sure what i should do. Bought this new and dealer delivered overfilled with HST oil. I assumed when they delivered it machine was good.

Now they are replacing the HST pump. Should i demand a new tractor. They swear overfilling would not damage the pump and it must have been defective.

Tech said cylinders were vary hot when he was servicing it. That leads me to believe the fluid had no return path and basically fought itself to death.

The HST is a closed loop circuit- it did not "fight itself to death". I would not be happy with such a premature failure but thats why you get a warranty.

I'm getting the feeling you're using the wrong verbiage.

The HST is the transmission.
The "cylinders" are run by the hydraulic pump.
Same fluid but completely different pumps and completely different systems.
