2013 M7040 value

Considering a used 2013 M7040 with cab and hydraulic shuttle. 1150 hours. What’s a fair value? Tires are fair and looks faded in pics. Not seen in person yet.
What did this year tractor have for emissions if any?

Not sure what the value should be - but the later models (2010-2013) of this tractor were tier IV, earlier ones were tier II

Quick search and I’d guess between the 30,000-40,000. Without looking at pics or any other info it’s pretty hard to give a value. It’s also worth more to some than others and with the market being pretty good on used equipment your location is gonna affect the value. As for emissions this is what I found online for m7040 from 2010-2013. Just as hokie said. Tier IV

Bought mine in December 2011. 900 hours on it now with only a few minor issues the first year. This is just an awesome tractor. Interim tier 4 so no emissions. This would be a hard tractor to find up my way

Found out cab roof has some damage. Left front corner by light. Lots of paint fading. Does have remote on loader though.

Looks identical to my 2011. The paint on mine is actually faded more. The owner is either super clean or he doesn't like grease...I don't see much around any of the grease points.
Third function is nice...wish I had got it but dealer wanted another $1k to install and I was already in for over $50k so I didn't get it. I did get cast centers for the rear wheels so that extra weight is great. Also had a set of ice chains installed. Can't get along without them as i live in snow country. Use mine mostly for plowing. Have a 9' power angle blade on the front and blower on the rear so doesn't matter how much snow it will handle it.

That has front third function (loader remote) and mutiple rear remotes.
I'll stick with my $40K price if not even a little more.

7040 has neither DEF nor DPF, a major advantage.

OK, just HOW can a 10 year old, 1000hr tractor NOT have ANY dirt on it ? Yeesh, looking at the picture NOT A SPECK of dirt.... even the rim barcode tag is CLEAN...

My now 17 year old L48 L48 TLB does not have any dirt on it......because I keep it clean, and it has low hours. (wheels and front bucket, have been repainted -enamel spray).

Ever heard of a pressure washer? Some tractors are clean because they're safe queens, others because the owner takes the time to clean them.

I have a 2012 same model. Later models have better brakes but likely get emissions you don't want.
I note two matters to bring to your attention.
Additional rear remote would have cost more than $1,000
3 pt lift cylinder has damaged cover. I had to replace one of mine. Part number T106034812 costs around $12. This cover is open on back side and just slips over cylinder push rod.

I find sometimes I have problems with rear remote cables freezing. It was a big help to remove a piece of plastic cab interior to let cab heat get to cables.

There is a trick to get better control over Glow Plugs especially if you have block heater.

Decided to pass on the tractor. Rougher than I like. Hydraulics seem weak, fuel tank damaged, some more body damage not visible in pics. Brakes weak. Just not what I expected.

They were asking $38,600. They came down some. Told me a trade difference so with what everyone else offered for my trade they are doing 34-35000 range.
