I dont mean to give bad/poor suggestions, but I recently had a “similar” hydraulic problem.

I was backing the tractor into the pole barn, and the boom for the BH would not move.

There was also something “funky” with the forks not responding properly.

Well time was running short, and we were in a hurry as per normal, so I decided to just leave it, and figure it out in a week or 2 when I got back up.

As it turns out, when I returned and looked at it with “fresh eyes”, I noticed one of the levers for my rear remotes was “ajar”.

I must have “bumped” one of the levers with my thigh, when I turned around to back in.

As soon as I "centered it” everything started working normally.

(I would take a pic of the “lever trio”, but the damn pole barn doors are frozen in place, due to the ice storm we just had )

EDIT:

I found a pic that kinda looks like my set up.

that inner lever (nearest the seat) was “bumped up”

This would most likely be where your issue is:

I'm going to take those quick connects off and check and probably replace, I think the male is off centered so I think the poppet valve is messed up. I was thinking of taking the hoses off the loader control valve to check for blockages or broken o-rings - any suggestions or what to be aware of when I take those off? Does anyone have a schematic of the loader control valve? I thought I had found one online but there looked to be a lot of springs and o-rings and not sure it was correct.

thanks - you must have an L or something larger.... my B2920 doesn't have those levers but have definitely done things like that in the past...

Hmmm.... here is what the local kubota dealer said... they have no clue what was wrong with it and the hoses weren't hooked up wrong way, they actually hooked them up backwards and I had to point that out to them... so they were not helpful at all...

Taking the hoses off the control valve would be bad?

Disconnecting hoses is fine and the proper way to approach the problem Disassembling the valve is not.

thanks, i'll focus on the quick connects and all the connections and not look to take the control valve apart - interesting the dealer said they were going to take apart and explore...

I think its clear the dealer rep was not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

You need to do some simple testing and to do that effectively you need to understand the circuit. Understanding that circuit is where you should be focused BEFORE taking anything apart.

In general, a sticking poppet for the quick release or a leak can cause these issus, correct? Im taking the quick connects apart on the loader and simply pushed in poppet on the yellow line in the female side and air spurted out and just flyid either pushed or just dripped out of the other 3 lines - so either air stuck or a leak….

Remove both halves and connect the hoses together with a fitting. That completely eliminares the QD. Then test operstion of loader and 3pt.

FIXED!! Thank you!! I replaced a few suspious quick connects going to the bucket and both male/female on the back hose - i think it was the male poppoet on the back hose not allowing the circuit to flow!! Appreciate the help! I should go back to the dealer and ask for a refund for the charge they charged me to “look at it” since they clearly had no clue!!!
