2008 L3200 alternator replacement

Hello does anyone know where I can get an replacement alternator for my L3200 that isn't $340? Or if there is a compatible alternator that will fit in and work as a replacement for the OEM TC339-15682 alternator?

The original was a Kokusan Denki GP9913. The company was bought by Mahle Electric.

You may want to think about going the rebuild route. Is it gone or not working? What is it not doing?

There is very likely an alternator re-builder in your area.

Only getting 12.7 volts at the battery while it's on and the battery is draining during use.

First things to check:

1. Belt is properly tightened and running OK. Bearing on alternator turning smooth.
2. Battery has been checked. Load tested to make sure it does not have internal problem.
3. Slo-blo fuse pulled and ohm'ed for continuity.
4. Good ground from alternator case to battery negative terminal. Connectors on alternator and corresponding cables bright, shiny, good electrical contact.

Let us know what you find and will go to next steps if needed. Where are you reasonably close to such as DFW, Austin, Houston, Midland, etc?
