We are first time Kubota owner's. We did alot of research and spent alot of time shopping around. We purchased a 2000 model M6800 with cab and 4WD. We had the dealer add a FEL. We also purchased a new 6' Land Pride brush cutter.

One thing we have not gotten from the dealer yet is an owner's manual. Today while bush hogging, a yellow light on the dash came on. The symbol looks like a square with a fan blade or cog in the center. There is also an arrow under the square curved clock-wise. What does this mean?

Appreciate any help.

I have a M5700 and when the PTO is running there is an orange or yellow light that comes on to remind you the PTO is engaged. With your tractor running you can engage the PTO and see if the light comes on, if it comes on with the PTO engaged try turning off the PTO and see if the light goes out, if it does you now know what the light is for...

I think jcansler is right, sounds like the pto light. Should be in the upper right hand corner of the dash.

Any chance you could give us a picture of the light you have in question? The fan blade you mentioned is what gave me the idea its a coolant level light. I'm just shooting from the hip, I don't own anything that fancy with bells and whistles....

Thank you for the responses. The dealer called today to follow up on the tractor delivery and advised the light was a safety feature for the PTO when running. We will get our operator's manual in about a week.
