The old girl has been running hot all summer. I lost my coolant reservoir and have been adding coolant all year. Sadly I was dry in the radiator this past weekend, so I took off the radiator and........

The repair shop said she was so thin that it could not be repaired. Tried to buy a new one and the part had been discontinued.

Kubota: ASSY RADIATOR, Part # 16861-72060

Any advise or recommendations?

A good radiator shop ought to be able to recore the radiator.

On my dad's old white, we found a radiator shop that could recore it. The price is about the same as buying a new one.

Check eBay.

Did you check Messicks too? I find it hard to believe that part has been discontinued. That p/n perhaps, but Kubota can have several part numbers for a single part. Some are serial number specific btw.

Also, what did the shop mean by too thin?

If my Gs ever need a new radiator, I plan on just getting them cored. My dad has a G1800 and a G2000. The 1800 he bought new, but the 2000 was bought non running for $500 and was very abused. I flushed the radiator twice and refilled with new coolant. She has been fine going on 2 years now.
