12v fuel transfer pump recommendations?

For whatever reason, human kind is able to launch people into space, but we are completely unable to come up with a simple affordable, reliable, spill proof, fuel container. Every gas or diesel container I've ever owned seems like it was designed to make sure only about two thirds of the fuel makes it into the destination tank, with the rest going everywhere but. I'm tired of dumping gas all over my ATV's and power equipment and diesel all over my Kubota.

I'm thinking I might try something like this:

I BOUGHT SOMETHING SIMILAR AND IT PUMPED TOO FAST. I USUALLY ONLY NEED 3-4 GALLONS/ REFILL. AT THE RATE OF THIS ONE, YOU ONLY HAVE SECONDS TO STOP. I WENT WITH A 30 GAL. STORAGE CONTAINER WITH A MANUAL PUMP. I FILL IT FROM JERRY CANS AND HAND CRANK IT OUT.
THE SOFT POLY HOSE CRACKED AND BROKE AFTER ONE YEAR BUT REPLACED IT.

I had one delivered by amazon last week. It was the Orion brand, very similar to the one you picked. I found it worked great, emptied a jerry can very quickly. Only draw back was the filter was just slightly too large to fit in the jerry can so I removed it. The one you picked looks like the similar filter so be prepared to find it doesn't fit either, but hope you are a bit luckier and it does.
