I’m in need of a 12.4-26 tractor tire for my l3001dt. Does anyone know what tire might take it’s place that’s close to size. The actual size is hard to find and they all want a fortune for them. Help is greatly appreciated.

You might double check that size. I can find the 12.4-24 and the 12.4-28 but not a 26. It appears the L3301 took a 12.4 -24. You're right, they are expensive. Check car tire dealers who may sell farm tires as well. We have a chain out west called Les Schwab. They sold me a pair of rear tires for a Mitsubishi tractor for about the price of what most places wanted for one. It may even be possible to contact them for purchase on line depending on shipping charges.

I have a rear set of BKT.
If 2 tires of a different size are the same price as one tire in that size, i would consider buying 2! But since you have a 4wd they need to stay pretty close to the same height/diameter as whatever you have. I don't know enough about the 'common' tractor tire sizes to know whether such a thing exists or not..
