Not much of an update, both tractors got delivered right before the cold front hit, went from 48 to -8 in about 4 hours. Next morning neither would start due to fuel being gelled up. Had to rescue 911 and put fuel treatment in both to get them to run. Going have to weld another step or make a cable step for the 6060 I can't physically get in it right now, but the M6 is a breeze to get in and out of. (wife said stay out of her tractor anyways)

Nothing quite like carrying your very own crapper around, wherever you go !

That L6060 is nice, but that M6-111 is awesome!!! What's the deal with the excavator to the left of the M6? That looks brand spanking new as well! :D

And way to go putting the porta in porta potty!

That's just a little bit awesome! I don't know a whole lot about excavators although one of the channels I watch regularly on YouTube is letsdig18. He's a Volvo guy though but does have some Caterpillar bulldozers.

I hope you stick around and post lots of photos of the M6, the L and that CAT. (y) I find that sort of thing inspirational and it's one of the reasons why I subscribe to some YouTube farming/construction channels.

Got a call from Berkleman's welding today, the industrial tires (back of photo) are stuck in Vancouver and he can ship my trailer with these style flotation tires instead. Im not seeing any downside to them being 18 ply and rated for 9500lb each. I was thinking the industrial tires may resist puncture by stick or rock better. Any thoughts?

This is just an example photo Bill sent me, my new one should be similar to the orange one in the back.

I don't think there is much difference in puncture resistance.
There is back and forth to which tire does better at floating and throwing off mud.
Your not driving the tire so traction in not an really an issue, though there is some side slope traction benefits to the Industrial tread design.

Trailer arrived today, haven’t played with it yet. Weighed around 7700lbs according to the scale in the excavator

That's an awesome combination and a great photo! My 16ft PJ dump trailer (15,000lb GVWR) is a bit over 5,000lb so that's not bad if the trailer is less than 8,000lb.

Well, if the M6 can't pull that trailer loaded up the hill, you could always put the L6060 in front to assist. Very nice setup.

Told the wife I wanted to load the trailer and see how the 6060 would pull it around flat ground, empty it pulled it with no problem, only issues is the SCVs have not been installed on the 6060 yet

This is the 12 ton rated capacity model. Couldn’t really find any normal dump trailers that had this capacity without getting in to big triple axle goosenecks.
I also got the hydraulic opening tail gate and quick removal options on this trailer

Nice additions for sure. So given the 17,600lb maximum loaded trailer weight, and the weight of the trailer, you'll be able to haul around 5 tons in that monster. Are you getting it set up for road use too, to pull behind a truck. You'd be CDL territory and I'm not sure what you'd pull it with but just curious.

Weight of the trailer dose not count, I’ll put a full 10-12 tons in it. Pulling with m6-111 read the sheet posted above it says not to include weight of trailer.

My M6060 has a W3 of 11,000lb but I took that to be the total weight of the trailer and load, but from what you're saying I can pull the PJ dump trailer loaded to the 15,000lb GVWR. The tongue weight (on the draw bar) is specific but it's surprising that Kubota wouldn't want to put a limit on the total weight of the trailer and load since the tractor will need to be able to stop that load when braking. From the way it reads, there's no limit on the weight of the trailer as long as the tongue weight W2 isn't exceeded. Interesting!

Anyway, that really is an awesome set up with a great tractor and trailer combination. I hope you post more photos of both in action. (y)

Be careful overloading your tractor. Drawbars DO break and rear casting’s that the Drawbars attach to Do break when overloaded. Replacing a Drawbar is not too bad money wise, rear castings $$$$.

I wonder how much wagon you can safely pull using a 3PH drawbar vs the tractor drawbar. Probably the 3PH lift capacity?

Got the M6-111 hooked to the trailer today, pulled the tailgate off. Put 11 yards of chert in it. Seems like it’s going to be a good combo. Will be running loads all day tomorrow and will have a couple of runs that are 1 mile each way so will be able to give honest feedback.

Not having any issues moving 10-11 yards of this cherty soil. Moved about 50 loads today so far. I think the tractor would handle the 16 ton trailer based on this performance. Trailer hasn’t missed a beat, and the walking beam suspension is awesome.
