Wow, Thanks. I grew up going to these types of "traction engine" shows with my grandfather. He drove/operated a Russell traction engine (steam tractor) as an orphan at age 12 just to survive. He lived in an outbuilding of a minister who was "kind" enough to take him in and let him work for his keep. Hmmm, I wonder, but I digress. I havent had the opportunity to see a big engine show in a few years. fewer and fewer people are willing to go the liability for one of these big boys plus many are just wearing out and no longer safe, what a a shame. I suppose thats where I got my love of small engines.

Cool stuff indeed. Those old steam tractors were something else but that was cutting edge stuff back in it's time. It was that, hitch the horses up or do it yourself.
