RTV-900 Rear Hub removal

Can anyone help out? Ive got a Kubota RVT 900. I need to replace the outer wheel bearings on the rear, But I cant seem to get the hub off. Its seem to be pressed on, What's the trick to getting it off?

I'm sorry, you'll have to be a little more specific as there are 21 sub models of the RTV900. ;)

They appear to share the same general build setup, You need to remove the cotter pin, axle nut, and keeper washers, drive the axle in and all should come out of it.

You may need to use a gear puller on the hubs.The only way to replace the rear axle bearings is to remove the rear axle housing from the unit.This is not a small job. The bearing are pressed in from the inside of the axle tube.If the outside one is bad I am sure the inside one needs to be replaced as well.You have two seals and two bearing on each side that should be replaced when you take it out. This is also a good time to check the axle shaft boots and u joints.I would try to find a repair manual.

what do you mean by drive the axle in? I'm calling the hub part 010. does that not just slip off the axle. its suck I can get it to slide off ive beat and even heated it up and beat and it still will not slip off.
What I'm I missing or doing wrong?

#10 is stuck on Fig D140, if you remove the cottor key, the nut and the 2 washers, you should be able to drive the shaft back to get the hub off.
Caution: Either use a puller or and soft piece of brass so you do not egg out the end of the shaft.

If they've been on a while, you WILL need a hub puller. I rented one recently at Autozone for a different project at home, but they are basically the same as the one I have at work-and they work well. I've beated, banged, broken, busted, invented new words, soaked them, ruined some axle threads, and done about everything else on one....hit it with the hub puller and it came right off. An old co-worker had one that even a puller wouldn't take off, ruined the puller. Made a different one with thicker material and fine threads and it finally came off with the help from a blue-tipped wrench.
