Don't know if this is applicable or not (also a new tractor owner), but on my L235 this is a bayonet type wire connect on the left side of the engine that has come lose a time or two. Reconnecting it has me back in business pretty quickly.

LT1Pat, That's what I thought too, but I'm not having any luck so far at the local Tractor Supply Store or the local Kubota dealers. Spline measures (w/ calipers) .92 inches and I'm not finding anything that small at Tracor Supply.
