I replaced one of the pistons and rings in the 3 cylinder Kubota engine in my L3010. Got it all back together and just wondering if I should use break-in oil to seat the rings or can I just run the kubota synthetic oil? Thanks for the help!

Well got the ring off with a small right angled pick inserted in the gap and applied a couple light taps. Ring sprung open fairly easily. You were totally right that I put it in upside down. Can't believe I missed the manufacturers mark as I've replaced pistons in the past and not made this...
