    Finally got the head off.Pistons seem to be in place and in one piece.I'd be scratching the hair on top of my head in consternation except that there's nothing there to scratch.I'm guessing my next move will be to drop the pistons and see if the crank is snafued?

    removed everything except the studs from the head. head is still on the block. we have pried,tapped, and lifted but no seperation from block.do studs have to be double-nutted and removed also? any advice will be greatly appreciated.
