Yesterday, I completed the 50-hour service on our LX3310. One strange thing occurred when changing the H660-36060 hst filter (OEM filter from dealer.) When installing the filter by hand, I felt contact of the gasket to the filter mount, and within another 3/8 - 1/2 turn, the filter bottomed...

Agree, a bit anal. My fun hobby stuff. Generally, if I'm not exhausted I'll cleanup and put stuff away at the end of the day. Five minutes with the leaf blower and hose before backing into the shop keeps it shiny. I built the shop/RV storage a couple of years ago...~1,700 sq ft. 16' tall...

Do you mean the blower with castors off and skid shoes on like this photo? Or, do you mean photo with castors still attached but blower lifted? The brackets are at the powder coat place...I should have them back middle of next week. I'll take other photos then if needed. BTW, I did also...

Your castor adapter is a simple and great idea... I built the same for our snowblower today.

Metal snow blower skid shoes may mark-up the concrete drive and asphalt culdisac. Made some hard plastic (UHMW) skid shoes.
