    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

Sorry for being obtuse but I'm not sure what you mean by float (this is my first real tractor). As for the previous message, yes, all other functions work as they should without issue - up, curl, and dump - but lowering the arms to the ground causes the engine to bog. If I power through that...

    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

The line marked "Press" on the pump up front is the feed line into the top of the valve (the hose in need of replacement). I assume the other is the suction line and isn't under pressure because it just has a band clamp at each end (tank and pump). Should I also assume the valve drains down...

    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

Got home too late tonight to get a photo but the valve is part of bundle 2-3994, per the installation instructions I received with the paperwork (the valve does match the parts diagram) and is a model 25792, 25793, or 25794 (don't know how to tell the difference). I actually have the...

    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

Bad lines are what I'm thinking as this wasn't stored well over the past xxx years. I will also take a look at the valve. I know the tractor was purchased, and has, the 1200 Kubota loader. That wasn't original to the tractor?

    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

Which I would do...except there are no quick connects in the whole system. Is that how it should have been done back then? I'm not wanting a trophy tractor, I'm just wanting it properly functional one and would add quick connects if it would solve the problem. Possible corrosion in the return...

    L245DT w/ 1200 Loader - Hydraulic / Engine Question

My loader works fine but, strange to me, at least, when I lower the FEL the engine bogs down. Going up it stays at idle fine but down is something else. This seems counterintuitive to me since the weight and pressure are being relieved from the system. This is my first Kubota, and this might be...

    1200 Loader Hydraulic Hose Length

Just updating this post for anyone else searching for the information in the future. I ended up buying 3/8" x 36" hoses (as per a different 1200 loader manual I found online) and they all worked fine. Per the parts manual I have for the loader, these were Kubota number 24456, 24457, 24458, and...

    1200 Loader Hydraulic Hose Length

I just inherited a '78 L245DT with a 1200 Loader which has set unused for a number of years. The hydraulic hoses from the control valve to the metal lines on the loader have cracked and I'm not sure they're original. The part numbers shown in the manual are, of course, no longer any good. I have...
