Still wondering about this. I installed a Facet elect lift pump but would be nice to know if this is common that some Kubota engines dont have whatever eccentric inside the gearcase to drive the mechanical lift pump.

this kubota D1105 came outta a reefer unit and is now in a boat. I am using an outboard fuel tank and dont want to run 2 lines to it. I *think* I can run these right into the line before the lift pump which is right near the engine.

I was thinking a tee just before the lift pump. same pressure as the tank. not sure why that wouldnt work... but, then again, what do I know... not much!

Nope just the one at the rear. Not sure what its called but I read they occasionally flow "extra fuel" from the injectors back to the tank. It just occurred to me, why not connect that fuel injector overflow rail barb to the barb on the front of the pump which sees lift pump pressure? It would...

so connect the barb on the front side of the injector pump to the barb on the back of the injectors to a tee, and back to the tank? dumb question, what happens if they just stay capped off? (not going to just asking what would happen)

hey I finally got this kubota installed and not sure what mean "other ties pump to rail". that rubber capped off one on the pump spurts diesel when I turn on my electric lift pump that feeds the injector pump unit. just wondering what its for and where they get hooked up. thank you

hi all, I bought a kubota D1105 that was in a reefer unit. The place where a mech fuel pump has a blanking plate. I bought a pump and looked inside when I removed the blank plate, and the cam gear doesnt seem to have an eccentric next to it, just a round 'feature' that looks like where the pump...

Hi All, I have a D1105 and hooking it up but dont know what these fittings. The one on the last injector I've seen called a "return". Does that have to go back to the tank? Does it flow a lot? The other one on the fuel injection pump with a cap, I have no idea. Any info appreciated.

cool! I cant oil the threads AND use locktite tho, so add 20% to the torque setting? mor???

I dont know what the factory says thats why Im askin... I figure lots of Kubota guys here would have done rebuilds etc and would know

just what it says. I have the torque spec just wonder if should use loctite per the factory or not? thanks

HI, I pulled the flywheel off my D1105 and it says D905 in the casting. Just checking to see if they are the same. Thanks
