I just ordered both lines. Figured i could just set it up like the backhoe. I'll be buying more land and building a house so I'm gonna purchase a BH92 in a few years anyway.
Yes the only one that looks like it may work would be the SAE J512 45 deg flared. But i would have to put an o-ring on it and not sure if it would seal very well. I looked at all this before i started the thread and figured i would ask before i just purchased a bunch of fittings that wouldn't...
A SAE ORB fitting will go into the loader valve power beyond port. The threads are 3/4-16 but the one banjo bolt going in the 3pt valve is smaller at 5/8-18 threads. And haven't found a fitting with those threads.
man I cant believe I didn't think to look there for them. I was looking at the factory third function kit and I could only find the one coming off the loader valve and was getting aggravated as crap lol. This is exactly what I was looking for thank you.
Yes it is a solenoid type 3rd function I...
I've looked at the parts diagram and see where they have the banjo fitting coming off the loader valve and looks to be a short line that's threaded on the end maybe for pipe threads. Its hard to tell from the illustration. But can't find any fitting or line going to the 3pt banjo fitting in...
Ok I'm doing my own build up of a 3rd function kit for a L5240. Have everything i need except i need to know what fittings will work on the power beyond port off the loader valve. Its a banjo type fitting and can't source one that will adapt to NPT or SAE. Any help from anyone with a true...
Its kinda funny though I'm still anal about keeping a log of all maintenance performed and i do a walk around everytime i get on or off my tractor for the day.
Yes an A&P certificate is basically a licence issued by the Federal Aviation Administration to work on aircraft in the civilian aviation industry. Stands for Airframe & Powerplant as stated by the gentleman above.
Good to see some fellow A&P's on here. Been in the industry for about 15 years. Have mostly heavy's and rotary wing experience with a couple years general.
Ok guys I've looked around multiple forums and can't find any definitive answers to my questions pertaining to my tractor and I'm wanting to do a write up of the newer L-40 series tractors.
With that being said i need a few specifics of the hyd system and loader valve. The hoses will be...
No it looks like something metal hit it. It has a large scratch on the 3pt lift cylinder and i sure can't imagine any kinda wood would have done that lol. But i inspected everything surrounding the housing and nothing else was hurt so should be good to go. She's purring like a kitten. Much...
Yes very true! I'll just have to tear it apart and see what all is jacked up. It has hyd top and tilt so kinda wondering if that could of done it some how.

Well even if i have $2500 in repairs then i think i still did pretty good. Those tractors still go for over 20,000 with over 700 hrs on them. His original price was 16000
