    Support ballast box when parked?

Hi Guys I’ve always had a little makeshift stand made out of old 4X4s to sit my ballast box on when I park my BX2380. The ballast is probably about 400lbs or so. I always just figured taking the weight off the hydraulics, etc was a good idea when not in use. Is this something that’s necessary in...

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

I didn't even think of rubber mats. Any thoughts on what brands are good for rear chains? (Just got the reply from JoeR while posting this. Sorry for the double question.

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

Hi Joe, Thanks for this. I only have a gravel driveway so no blacktop to wreck here. Two questions... I do park the tractor in the garage which has a cement floor. Would it be wise to throw down some cheap used plywood to park it on? Do you have a brand of chains or are there Kubota chains...

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

That's not something I'd want to have to deal with. Sounds like I should just get used to sliding around in the winter. Unless this is a rare occurrence and maybe user error? Do chains fall off and bind often?

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

Hi guys, I have a BX2380 with turf tires on it. Its great for the summer and most of the winter stuff I have to do. I do find in certain snow and when I'm dragging the bucket doing the driveway the turf tires off less traction than I'd like. I was looking at maybe buying chains (I'm not sure if...

    Tire bulging out the side

I figured as much. Thanks Rodger. Its on a BX2380 so not a heavy weight machine but it does have a loader on it. I'll get a new one this month as opposed to having to change it in the winter. Would this be caused by being under inflated? Thanks again.

    Tire bulging out the side

I noticed my front tire was bulging out the side wall. It feels like the rubber is a bit thin there. The tires have never been over inflated. Just wondering if I should trust it. I have a neighbour that says he has had this in the past and that the tire lasts quite a while. Just wanted to get a...

    UDT Oil screw up

Hi guys, Thanks for all the advice. Oil has been drained for a few hours and changed. New oil filter too of course. I didn't notice anything different or any sounds other than the usual so I'm assuming there was not enough time to wreck anything if at all. I won't be as bone headed the next...

    UDT Oil screw up

I just realized I put UDT oil in instead of 10W30 for my oil change in my BX2380 I have 3 hours use with the oil. Clearly I need to drain and change the oil and filter ASAP but is there anything else I need to do

    BX2380 Hydrostatic questions

Hi guys, When I check the dip stick in the back for the Hydrostatic fluid cold it reads about a third. When its hot its clearly much higher. Which temp do you check it at? Also, if I have to get more is all premium hydrostatic fluid the same or do I need to get the Kubota brand?

    T1880 drive belt question

The spring (and drive belt) fell off my 1880 lawn mower and each time I put it back on the belt falls off. I know where the spring goes but clearly I've forgotten how the belt goes on. If someone can point me to a picture or diagram of the bottom of the T1880 I' sure would appreciate it. Andrew
