    No hydraulics after using PTO

Finally got the tractor going last few days. Now the hydraulics are working as they should. No leaking FEL cylinders or wobbling rear wheels. Obviously the blocked filter was causing the loss of hydraulic pressure. Lesson learned, buy a second hand tractor which has been neglected change all...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

I work on mine in between other jobs and waiting for parts. Seems every time I look there is something else needs repairing. I filled the steering box with oil today then adjusted the slack. Now that I have that sorted I find out the front diff is sliding back and forth parallel to the tractor...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

I clearanced the wheel hub today. Looks like it will definitely fit tight using the existing clamping bolt. Still waiting on the axle seal as had to buy genuine Kubota. I used a small die grinder bit just to nick the lip off.

    No hydraulics after using PTO

I believe it is the return line on the other side of the gearshift where the filler normally is. You say about a T fitting being there well who ever set it up neglected to install one. I have been removing the fitting to fill the transmission. I will get a T and install on my next trip to the...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

Did you clearance the hubs with a die grinder bit? After reading the thread you gave the link to I got the impression removing the springs from the tightening bolt was sufficient to allow the hub to be tightened. The bolts which go through the axle on mine are bent obviously been wobbling around...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

The rear wheel hub is loose and not sure if you can tell from the photo but there are bolts with a whole bunch of washers on them screwed into the assembly. It is still loose on the axle. Yes I need to get some new seals this week for the rear axle.

    No hydraulics after using PTO

Ok like Dave said my knowledge of tractor part terminology is a little unclear so it is why I have started to post pictures. Here is one of where the hoses go. Thanks for the help.

    No hydraulics after using PTO

Today I dropped the loader frame which was bolted to the rear diff assembly. This made it possible to remove the filter from the transmission. Filter picture below. The loader frame is cracked so going to take it into town for repairs. Also noticed some sort of nasty setup on the rear axle...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

Hi Dave The loader is powered from the hydraulic block which has the handle for selecting fluid flow. I should have mentioned that prior to having the loader cylinders reconditioned I had never used the pto so the problem very possibly existed before hand. No hoses were replaced and the...

    No hydraulics after using PTO

Hi All I bought a B7100 a month back and its been a bit of a learning curve with being my first tractor. The last owner really neglected maintenance but the price was right so I took the plunge. So far I ve had the two front hydraulic rams for the loader reconditioned. Installed them and...

    B7100 Loader hydraulic issue

You were correct I simply had the levers in the wrong positions to operate the front hydraulics. The two rams have a leak from the seals apart from that it all works fine. Thanks for the help all.

    B7100 Loader hydraulic issue

I could definitely be operating the controls in the wrong positions. Hopefully I am, I ll try again later today and also take pictures of where the hoses are going. Thanks.

    B7100 Loader hydraulic issue

There is a oblong handle just under the front of the seat which I assume is the selector valve. I have tried the two positions and the rear works in one. Nothing where I believe the handle should be for the front hydraulics. In saying that I still may be doing something wrong as this is my first...

    B7100 Loader hydraulic issue

Hi All I just bought a bit of a beast its an old B7100 with the loader attachment on the front. The tractor had been sitting for a number of months and previous maintenance was nearly non existent. I had to top up the transmission fluid to get the rear three link working and it works fine...
