    Don't want no crocodile tears lol. That is the reason I stopped last night because I was getting frustrated and I figured I could get on here and ask for advice and give it another try this evening. I do appreciate yalls input.

    The PTO shaft spins with no problem. I can get the halves close enough together and then I can reach in with a pair of channel locks, I turn them around and use the rubber handle end to grab the bottom shaft collar and get it slid on to the other shaft while it is still on the original shaft...

    The tiller does have a slip clutch, but I was lazy and didn't loosen the springs and free everything up, so I dont think its slipping.

    I have 2 issues. I split my tractor (L2800 HST) because I thought the cam clutch had gone out again, it was making the same noise as it did last time. They look good. I talked to a mechanic yesterday and said the cable may be out of adjustment. It doesn't appear to be. What else could be...
