    Tractor under water

Yes, as mentioned, "things can be fixed." But, let's not forget in 20 years how our physical strength/stamina diminishes. Plus, now the equipment to re-do everything may not be working so it's just a heartbreak all around. My area is close by and somewhere around 5+ inches fell here. Only a...

    Wallenstein FX110

With bale accumulators, stacking bales is no longer necessary. And, yes, I grew up on a farm and stacked bales at the neighbors' dairy farm. Believe it or not, I enjoyed it! Now I wonder what was wrong with me. :) Tractor Gal

    Massive Cup Holder!

Or...a little less expensive idea...an expandable base cup holder: this would work for my BX23D and maybe others. $2.50 plus $4.57 shipping...

    Massive Cup Holder!

My little BX23D doesn't have a good cup holder either....it's not nearly deep enough to hold much of anything. Hopefully, one of the many geniuses on this forum will have come up with something. Meanwhile, I just go without until the task is finished. Tractor Gal

    Messicks wins again

I can't wait to hear the report! It's almost as good as having one myself. TG

    Messicks wins again

Hate that for you, TOH. But, as others have said, it's great that you found one! After a while, you'll forget the aggravation and expense. Our minds are good like that! Tractor Gal

Thanks for the chuckle. I wonder why "readers" and "lurkers" think it's a big jump to join this forum? It seems that when someone joins, they've "been here" for a while. Anyway...you'll be glad you made the jump. You're one of us now. Scary, isn't it?! :) Tractor Gal

B1750 hst with la300 loader value

Notice the word "approximate." It's a way to have an idea of the weight load without having to go to the manual which says: LA300 Loader 600 lbs lift (full at pin) 272 kg TG

    Down-Hill In A Hurry

Wow...now THAT'S a story. So glad you didn't tip over or hit the garage. I've only used 4 WD a couple of times...when I needed more traction. Yes, I know...that's a DUH. I have always thought it was to be used when needed, not all the time. But, this story is saying to use it all the time...

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

I will look at things more closely when the weather clears. I hear what you and Russell are suggesting. I just don't want to put something that critical in a place where it can be damaged easily. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep thinking. "Sometimes me sits and thinks and sometimes me...

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

Good thinkin', Russell. You're really trying to solve this and I appreciate your effort. Right off the bat, the answer is "I don't know." :-) After the bat has swung and missed, I would say that it's likely that I would complicate things more! Even though some of Kubota's engineering is not...

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

I thought that was what you meant. And, it IS a web. It also provides a problem too big for me. Thanks for your help, though. TG

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

Yes, you did a great job. It looks to me that the "web" on my loader (as Russell has aptly called it) will prevent the body of the filter from sitting correctly,. It would move the filter further to the front and possibly more exposed to damage. I'm not as handy with bending/welding metal...

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

Thanks for the idea, Russell. I think you're suggesting getting a mounting plate/bar made that will attach to the piece I have called an angle of steel. You may be calling it web. I'm not sure that's what you're thinking. But, after mulling this around and trying to find an example of a...

    BX Fuel Filter Replacement/Relocation - - - Part LV

My BX23D has an LA211 loader. There is a steel "insert" that forms an angle at the spot where these relocated fuel filters would fit. I'd like to do the relocation. I have changed both filters with hose clamps in place and it wasn't too bad. But, like many are saying...I'm not getting any...
