    B7100 HST Hydrostat/Charge pump.

All oils and filters are new, genuine Kubota items. All pipes have been replaced, all suction screens cleaned. Oil level is correct, even tried it higher than the correct level to see. Oil isn't foaming, but it being churned around quite a lot. Previous owners have clearly used ATF fluid...

Anyone? Does everyone just strip the machine for parts when they break?

    Body Panels

B7100. Previous owners have made some pretty poor attempts at repairs, bonnet (hood) has had some really bad fibreglass repairs and the nose cone even worse, worse still is that they have fibreglassed them together. What other models share the same parts that I could look at for replacements...

    B7100 HST Hydrostat/Charge pump.

Hi all, If anyone is interested have a search for my other posts, but I've got a HST issue whereby it just stops functioning altogether, mainly at high rpm and then it needs to either have the revs dropped or wait until it decides it'll work again. Anyway....... what has everyone else done...

    D750 / B7100 fuel adjustment.

Thanks for the response, I knew you'd be on top of this! The first part of your response is slightly contradictory to some topics I've seen you reply to previously? I've very definitely read responses on past topics that indicate increases in fuel pressure. I'll definitely take your advise on...

    D750 / B7100 fuel adjustment.

I've already changed all filters soon after I bought it, namely because it has a HST issue that was caused by a previous owner fitting the wrong filters and fluid, so all filters have been changed, hence why I'm now looking at fuel pressure.

    D750 / B7100 fuel adjustment.

I'm an engineer by trade with lots of experience in motorsport application, so I'm not going to just be 'turning injection pump settings' for the fun of it. I'm just not entirely familiar with compact tractors, my issue being mainly the talk of it being 'capped' and due to where my tractor has...

    D750 / B7100 fuel adjustment.

Hi Folks, My tractor seems pretty underpowered compared to some stories that I've read on here. I've read about the capped fuel adjustment screw to increase fuel pressure, I suspect my tractor may have been 'turned down' at time of original sale at the dealer as it was only ever intended to...

    1983 B7100 cooling system.

Yes radiator has been removed to be flushed out, whether there are blockages internally in the rad in the small passages that don't allow water through is another thing. It has been sat a long time this thing so may well be corroded and blocked inside.

That may explain it as they were a cab option over here, most are tbh.

    1983 B7100 cooling system.

It's definitely a 750, a gutless one at that, I think the fuelling has been turned down at some point. It has 762cc cast into the block. A quick Google search of 'B7100 Engine' shows that it's quite a common thing to have water pumps and thermostats. I'll try and get a picture of the number...

I don't have any pictures to hand that show any detail in that sense so will take some tomorrow if I remember.

I'll see if I have any to hand, otherwise I'll take some tomorrow as it's dark here atm. It may well be a UK thing?

    1983 B7100 cooling system.

As mentioned on the other post, the tractor is standard, bar for the alternator change. There was a post on another forum confirming that these machines left the factory with a water pump and thermostat or had them fitted at dealer before dispatch. The engine is also the standard 762cc engine.

    B7100 HST Hydraulic system.

Yes both screens cleaned as mentioned in the other reply and yes new O-rings fitted. running ATF fluid wouldn't have damaged anything other than seals as it's used in a lot of high pressure pumps, but it's the seals I'm worried about. That being said, with how it reacts and looking at that...

    B7100 HST Hydraulic system.

I have seen this mentioned many times, and I can assure you that there IS a water pump and there is (well was) a thermostat and it IS factory fitted and/or dealer option. There is a post on another forum about it that confirms it but can't find it atm.

Incredibly handy! All I need to do now is find a tool to test the pressures, and work out what they should be and go from there, it may be that a PRV is sticking open. I do have a WSM somewhere but may have misplaced it.
