    Garage door height

The door on my garage has an opener on it , and I adjusted the opener to open just enough to clear the opening. On my shop door, I cut a slot in the horizontal track for the slide latch to hold the door open enough. So far I haven’t forgot to latch it when putting the tractor in the shop.

    Adding Hydraulic Deflection on Snowblower

I pretty much built it on the fly, so sorry, no plans or dimensions. The cylinder was from Northern Tool, and has a 6” stroke. Way too much cylinder for its purpose, but is what was available. Zero problems with it since built, and I’m glad I went through the work, as it really makes things...

    Daily Chuckle

I think you might be referring to the 11’8” +8” bridge. They did raise it 8” from the original height, but it is still being hit, just not as often. Most of the truck rental places in the area have a warning on there rental form warning you that you are responsible if you hit it. Fun site to...

I don't understand the hate with the "treadle" pedal.

Being that my B2650 was my first tractor , I didn’t have any preconceived opinions of what was good or bad about the treadle pedal. I just did what was necessary to make my tractor go forward or reverse. As far as safety, again, I think it is more a muscle memory thing. after doing the same...

    Kubota ordering system outage coming?

X2, and I have all filters and fluids on hand at home already.

    B2650 shortened control arm?

If you had an original OEM Kubota third function installed you would not have this issue. My B2650 cabbed installation does not hit the steering wheel. My guess is that most if not all aftermarket third function installations will suffer with this issue.

    Adding Hydraulic Deflection on Snowblower

The cylinder has a 6” stroke, can’t remember the other specs. Just a word of caution, make sure you make and mount the brackets to use the full stroke of the cylinder. In other words, you don’t want the slots in the deflector to run out of travel before the cylinder bottoms out on the stroke...

    The mouse mystery.

Not a mouse, but we did have a bat in the toilet when we woke up one morning. Figured the only way was down the vent. But who knows for sure

    B2650HSDC Recall Notice

Well after 22 months since I was first informed about this recall, I had a phone call last week to find out if I still had my tractor. Since I still do, he ordered the pipe that was in question, and this morning a service tech showed up at my house, and an hour and a half later the pipe had...

    Milwaukee Portaband

I’ve had one for years. I wouldn’t sell mine for $140.00, you did good.

    Printer Recommendations

Yup, did the same, got rid of the HP and have never looked back. Got tired of the HP cartridge pricing and all the problems they have.

    Kubota Credit Corporation

Paid off my 60 month loan in May of this year, less than a month past and I had a letter from Kubota Credit saying they released the lien on the tractor, and all is good. Never had to call Customer Service once, as nothing ever went wrong with the auto pay.

    I think I overpaid

I just made the final payment on my B2650HSDC in May. I’ve gotten more done and had more fun in the past five years while making the payments that if you asked me exactly how much I paid, I can honestly say I don’t know, and more importantly I don’t care. It has done more for me in the past...

Something to lift logs to cut into fire wood

I have my own sawmill, so any larger logs go to the mill for lumber, the tops get used for firewood. The firewood deck is 10 feet, and the trailer is a King Kutter hydraulic dump, with a 3000 pound capacity. The largest log that I have lifted on my sawmill with my tractor was an 18 foot red...

Something to lift logs to cut into fire wood

Here’s my log deck for cutting firewood. No more bending over during the entire process. I use the grapple to lift the log on the deck, cut every 16”, roll the round to the splitter and push the split wood into a hydraulic dump trailer, then haul to the woodshed. Cut the time involved, and no...

There is one thing I despise about kubota, part pricing

A little off topic, but only because it’s about my sawmill. I did something stupid on my sawmill this spring a tightened the drive belt to much and burned up the idler pulley. Called up the manufacturer and asked if they had a replacement pulley for my 20 year old mill. Yup he said, that will...

What’s the difference in left/right auger on F5220 snowblower.

In the picture that Dustball posted, the augers are out of sync with each other. One auger should be turned 180 degrees to the other so they bring the snow to the middle evenly. The way they are now, it will bring the snow to the middle in surges.

    Greasing your machine....The hate/hate relationship.

When I have to grease my tractor FEL and attachments I go around with a Q tip and a box of Kleenex to clean all the recessed zerks before getting the grease gun out. Both are cheap and when filled with grease, get tossed in a bucket. I find that it is much quicker to grab another Kleenex when...
