Wow! Did you do the fabrication on the plates to extend the mount? The original BH77 foot room is cramped; that looks really tight! Is the speed and power significantly more? I think that I would upgrade to an excavator before I did all that work; but beautiful job!

L3301 HST with backhoe. It has been very useful and reliable for me.

I have never removed my FEL to mow, but sometimes I remove the bucket. This gives me some ballast in the front without sacrificing visibility or maneuverability. In any event, keep the FEL low to the ground. Just my 2 cents (now worth less than a penny). Jack

I am in Western NC, in the mountains at 4400’. I have an L3301 with ag tires (no cab). I would not want a cab because of the woods where I work a lot. Tree limbs and cabs do not get along well. Your circumstances may be different. I bought my tractor 6 years ago when it had 3 years on it...

I think that jimh406 meant for you to reverse the blade, and go forwards. In this way, you are still diverting snow to the side as you plow without any “bite” into your surface. I think that the hydraulics will handle the weight of the blade fine, but only one way to know for sure...

I have a 250# Landpride grapple on my L3301 with a 525 Loader. It is a perfect weight/capability match. I would not be happy with a heavier grapple at any price. But I primarily move big logs. Only you can decide if the savings is worth the compromise in performance. Jack
