    My rear remote installation

Nice setup! I have a similar configuration on my L3301. I found that the valve body began rusting, and I had to take it all apart and paint it. Jack

    Furniture dollies?

I am using one right now for a 3pt concrete mixer. Caution - in my book, the Harbor Freight 1000# furniture dolly capacity is greatly exaggerated. I build most of my dollys with 2x or 4x4 wood and larger casters. YMMV Jack

    Pat’s Quick Hitch

Before I installed a hydraulic top link on my L3301, like “mendonsy” above, I bought a longer top link at TSC. It was just about perfect to compensate for the Pats. Jack

Looks like it could be a hay rake.

    BH77 Upgrade

Wow! Did you do the fabrication on the plates to extend the mount? The original BH77 foot room is cramped; that looks really tight! Is the speed and power significantly more? I think that I would upgrade to an excavator before I did all that work; but beautiful job!

What model Kubota Tractor do you own?

L3301 HST with backhoe. It has been very useful and reliable for me.

    Front ballast question

I have never removed my FEL to mow, but sometimes I remove the bucket. This gives me some ballast in the front without sacrificing visibility or maneuverability. In any event, keep the FEL low to the ground. Just my 2 cents (now worth less than a penny). Jack

Public Service Announcement: don't set the wood's on fire please.

This is one reason that I chip instead of burning. Jack

    Opinions on L3301

I have an 8 year old L3301. It has been pretty much faultless for me. Mine has ag tires, with width set as wide as it goes. I run chains front and rear with a heavy snow (infrequent in my locality). I bought mine used with 300 hours on it. I just passed 700 hours. My only complaints...

Used L3901, 12 hours, 24k-ish$. Deal or no?

I am in Western NC, in the mountains at 4400’. I have an L3301 with ag tires (no cab). I would not want a cab because of the woods where I work a lot. Tree limbs and cabs do not get along well. Your circumstances may be different. I bought my tractor 6 years ago when it had 3 years on it...

    Rear blade advice

I think that jimh406 meant for you to reverse the blade, and go forwards. In this way, you are still diverting snow to the side as you plow without any “bite” into your surface. I think that the hydraulics will handle the weight of the blade fine, but only one way to know for sure...

    Grapple Size - L3800

I have a 250# Landpride grapple on my L3301 with a 525 Loader. It is a perfect weight/capability match. I would not be happy with a heavier grapple at any price. But I primarily move big logs. Only you can decide if the savings is worth the compromise in performance. Jack
