    Hydraulic pump vibration

No idea about your particular machine, but from the description I'd be wondering about cavitation or air entrainment, like some problem with the suction line. Depending on whether suction line/s are hard pipe or hose. Kink or partial blockage of suction line, or crack in it, suction pickup...

    Sunfire Heaters Anyone?

We used them in a high bay workshop. Yes they put out a lot of heat, they also produce carbon monoxide... odourless ... be careful, note the warnings above.

It was N.m. but irrelevant now as whitetiger has delivered the fact :-)

    Strange Blade

Those be meaty scarifiers! Perhaps the blade was welded up to keep it rigidly in position when the scarifiers were used. Operating at an angle would bend them sideways.

Torque for Fuel Injector in V4000A Engine

Welcome to the forum :) Odd that there's not that info. in the tractor WSM, I had a look too. Perhaps someone has a standalone V4000 manual (V4000-B manual is Kubota code no. 07909-70103) or product service bulletin with that info... . Subject to others' better info or ideas, because the stud...

    Power Steering rebuild kit

@Whitetail Hunter Welcome to the forum. From part numbers looks to be the same booster used on other older Kubotas like the M4500DT so a few people including me would be interested in how you solve this. 2 thoughts: 1. Someone else at OTT posted that they overhauled one almost certainly like...

Place your bets on inoperable L3350DT front axle...

Its a real pity that people turn these old 4WDs into 2WD, but having rebuilt the front axle of my M4500DT (55hp one generation older and a size heavier than yours) I can understand why some decide to forgo the cost and difficulty getting replacement parts. I got a lot of help from this forum so...

Place your bets on inoperable L3350DT front axle...

Even if all the gearteeth were gone, I'd expect some residual noise/feel and a handful of metal in the oil. Just to broaden the scope, I'll bet that something inside has been removed :)

Hydraulic pipe thread for the auxiliary hydraulics on a 1982 M7500-DT?

@Potton it could help to know which hydraulic hoses you refer to. Some owners have replaced steel lines with hoses, so its hard to be certain what you are referring to. @Russell King has pretty much summed up, but one thing to confirm: on the M4500DT (smaller model than yours but same model...

    Dry Season

With you being an @xrocketengineer I guess you'll have done a risk analysis and decided on options. In the 2000s we looked at projections and decided to keep away from coastal zones (not saying that's where you are, it was just our decision relating to the NZ situation). We looked at a 100...

Bolt or bolt tip name and standard?

@PoTreeBoy yes, correct the flange head is the stop, its not a setscrew/grubscrew, so that explains why there's probably no standard for such an assembly type of bolt end. @Dustball thanks, a drain plug will be too short. Its to bolt a 10mm thick plate to another using 4 x bolts in a...

Bolt or bolt tip name and standard?

OK, this is great! @ken erickson seems to have summed it up: dog point for locking into holes or recessess in shafts etc, like the standards @TheOldHokie refers, and pilot point usually reserved for alignment/assembly @Gus1957 's Nissan example. On the science of self alignment is MAThreads...
