    l1500dt (l175) clutch wont disengage

Thanks for your guys replies. I very much appreciate it. What about hitting the inspection opening with an aerosol brake cleaner, while also having the bell housing drain plug open? This could potentially clean up some of the excess grease. Would you advise against what this guy does...

    l1500dt (l175) clutch wont disengage

I recently split my new-to-me l1500dt and replaced the clutch plate, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. It has been performing flawlessly for the past three weeks. Today when I started the tractor, I was unable to put it into gear because of grinding. After inspecting the clutch pedal...

    Correct Zerk Replacements - L175 (L1500DT)

Hey there, I took out a damaged zerk fitting and tried to replace with a 6mm metric zerk I found on amazon. It would not thread correctly. I read somewhere in another thread about tapered and non-tapered threads. Could this be the issue? Where is one able to find oem replacements on old...

    Blown hydraulic hose - l175, l1500dt

I can't thank you guys enough. I'll cut it back (with a pipe cutter?) as minimally as I can before installing the new compression fitting. Hopefully it does the trick. Best of luck to you gentlemen. If I mess up I'm sure I'll go with your suggestion of sending it to Island Hydraulic in Kodiak...

Hey guys, Was cold up here yesterday morning on Kodiak. I was sure to hit the glow plugs for a good 60 seconds and she started right up however a hydraulic line blew upon her starting up. I have attached a picture. Seems to me it blew just before where the hydraulic fluid enters the pump. I...

L1500DT (L175) Grease points and tips

Hey guys, I am new to owning a tractor, but loving it so far. I try to upkeep my equipment and know grease is important. I have a couple questions and concerns. Thanks for your time and help: The zerk fittings on the ball joints are not taking grease very well in my opinion. They seem fairly...

    L175 (l1500dt) 3 pt hitch hydraulics

Hello gentlemen, I just got done putting a new clutch in my l1500dt. She is purring like a kitten, and so fun to work with. I am in the process of making a "counter-weight" for it to increase the weight I can put in the bucket without making her tip. Currently, I am only aware of how to make...

L175 temp sensor: repair oem or add aftermarket?

Sorry, I should have mentioned this is actually a grey market l1500dt, with its closest US counterpart being the l175. There is a temp sending unit on the starboard side of the block cooling system. I accidentally tore the wire our threading it back in after putting a new clutch in. What do...

L175 (l1500dt grey market) temp sensor: repair oem or add aftermarket? Hello, I just got done putting a new clutch in my l175. In the process of putting her back together, I broke the wire out of the temp sending unit while I was threading her back in. My questions are: 1.) Can I fix this...
