    My L2350 is dead...

It turned out to be the ignition switch. I ordered a new one from my local dealer, put it in, and she sparked right up...

    My L2350 is dead...

I pulled the ignition switch and jumped it with a screwdriver between the battery connection and the starter connection on the back of the ignition....started right up. The new switch is waiting at the shop for me to pick up tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure that will solve the problem.

    My L2350 is dead...

OK, I did the cable part with the red to the big bolt on the starter, and the other red touching the positive terminal on the battery...nothing. However, when the cable is connected to the battery and touched the frame I had sparks...

    My L2350 is dead...

I have a basic voltage meter. I tested the all the wires to and from the battery, starter, and ignition...they all came out as working, I can't say I know what voltage is running through them, but they are not dead. All the wires looked good and were connected. As for the jumping part, I've...

I really don't understand how to do that at this point without melting a screw driver...

    My L2350 is dead...

I just bought a voltage tester, so I will get to that asap. The PO said the ignition switch was an issue, and if you have to jiggle the key to get gauges working and battery charging...I willing to bet the ignition switch is a problem.

    My L2350 is dead...

I don't have a battery tester, but I connected jumpers to the battery and banged them together to see if I had any type of charge. They made a spark, so I assume the battery has a charge. I followed up with the connections and they are solid. I am going to try and jump the starter this morning...

    My L2350 is dead...

I have a new switch ordered; I hope that is the fix. How do I jump it? I've seen it done, but it's a different story when you have to do it.

    My L2350 is dead...

Yeah, I called him and he said it was the switch. I asked what he did to start it once it was dead, he said pull the battery and charge it, which I did, and it is still dead.

    My L2350 is dead...

Just bought a '97 L2350 on Friday. Ran if a few hours, stopped it, then when I came back it was dead as a brick. The previous owner said that the ignition switch would not warm the glow plugs, and once you turned it on you need to jiggle it to make sure the fuel gauge was up and the hours...

    About to buy a Kubota

I'm new to the forum and new to tractors. I bought into my family's 8,000 acre ranch about 4 years ago. I own about 40 acres with a house, several out buildings, and about 5 acres of pine trees. Long story short, I have been struggling with a pick and shovel; I need a tractor. I have saved $10K...
