    Wheels Needed

    Gemplers has 16 x 6, 8, and 10 fronts. Normally rims are 2" less than tire width. They also have smooth base rims for rear. You will have to weld in your tabs on the rear. They should be re-usable. gemplers(dot)coaum. part numbers RW1024 for rear and 8506 for front.

    L2550 wiring harness

    I spent a couple of weekends with a soldering iron and shrink tubing in hand. Built a new harness for arount $75 in material. Stayed true to color code putting striping on new wire with magic markers. I eliminated most of the connectors by making a 1-piece harness.

    Glow plug switch malfunction

    You are right. My eyes got crossed. What reason could there possibly be for a timer relay on the stop circuit? Unless power to the stop solenoid puts it in the stop position not run position.

    That is actually a glow plug timer relay. My new (to me) L2550 had one that had the smoke let out of it at one time. Since my engine is direct injected I just did not wire the glow plugs when I redid the wiring harness. Any time it is too cold to start without glow plugs it is too cold for me...

    1970's L200 Trouble starting

    When starting put hand throttle to full throttle and 3-point to full down. If you get white smoke then you have fuel. If it doesn't crank fast enough it won't start. The starter may need rebuilding. If the injectors are not atomizing the fuel it won't start. If you don't have at least...
