White/Gray Smoke coming from bottom of D950 Engine on F2000 Mower

It looks like it is coming from that hose from the valve cover now that you said that. It only has smoke coming out when the engine is warmed up. Any ideas on what needs to be done if anything to fix?

White/Gray Smoke coming from bottom of D950 Engine on F2000 Mower

I cannot figure out where this smoke is coming from on this F2000 with D950 engine. This season i noticed this smoke from underneath the engine and cannot find the source. Please check out the video and let me know what you think. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nbb0zwgtyzroalw/IMG_4866.mp4?dl=0

F2000 Diesel Engine Making New Noise - Any Ideas?

I have an 87 Kubota F2000 mower that started making a strange noise recently. I cannot pinpoint the location. It started as a low clunking sound that was would get faster as the engine rpms increased but not in sequence with the engine. That was a couple weeks ago - now it has progressed this...

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

I was able to replace the worn bearings in the lower pulley holder and put everything back together. The blade tightened back up and the mower worked great for a couple weeks. I just noticed today that the middle blade was not cutting well and when I checked the blade it was loose again. Not...

Mower Gear Box - grease or SAE 80?

My RC72 mower deck gear box has a leak at the PTO shaft. I have read on this forum a couple different options to fix: 1- replace the oil seals 2- use grease instead of gear oil Since it's an older mower deck I am inclined to go with the grease as the tolerances might be off/worn with the age...

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

The bearings are attached to the deck and the spindle and pulley are removed and fine. Just did not know if I need to remove the whole pulley holder to remove the bearings or if there is a way to get them out while keeping the pulley holder attached to the deck? How do I remove the oil seal...

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

I decided to remove the gearbox and pulley to see if I could find anything. Not sure if this is related or another issue but once I removed the gear box and spindle I found that the bearings in the deck that go around the spindle below the pulley are bad. It only has about half of the bearings...

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

I will take out the bolt and measure it but since it was fine for the last couple months and is now having an issue, I did not suspect that to be the problem. I was thinking it had something to the do with the spindle or gearbox

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

The threads look fine and both washers are there and cupped with dome towards the ground.

RC72 Mower Deck - middle blade loose and will not tighten

The middle blade on RC72 mower deck stopped mowing over the last couple mows. I noticed the blade was loose. I tried to tighten with a socket and breaker bar. I was able to remove the blade and then try to re-install, but no matter how hard I try it will not tighten all the way. Any ideas...

    F2000 Hydrostat Pedals Sticking

Thanks for the responses. I cleaned out the area and tightened the spring as much as I could. That helped. I know I will probably have to go in and replace the bushing and spring as well as the other small parts there to get a long term fix. Is there a good way to get to these parts...

    F2000 Hydrostat Pedals Sticking

I recently inherited a 1988 F2000 front mower. It runs good and cuts great. The problem is that when operating - I let off either the forward or reverse pedal and the mower keeps going. The pedal stays down or slowly creeps back up. I am able to still mow by just tap lightly on the opposite...
