    New sending unit. Gauge goes up if + is jumped to ground. Gauge goes up 1/8" when ground to frame or engine.

    Based on someone's help here, my 7610 has a bad ground to fuel gauge. I have tried to ground direct to frame but that does not work. What can I do?

    Fuel gauge stuck empty

    B7610HST fuel gauge reads MT regardless of fuel amount. Was stuck on full. Have replaced sending unit. Disconnecting and touching positive to a ground, gauge jumps to full. No obvious wire problems. I would appreciate some help.
