Like I stated above, I just drained the oil and put in 80w-90 gear oil. Do you think the water could of stayed in somehow? It does puzzle me why it is so tan. But then again...this is all new to me! (tractors, hydraulics, etc..)

It is leaking from the PTO shaft that comes out the front of the transmission. Do I have to split the tractor to replace this seal? Doesn't really seem like there is another way. It also just started to leak a little from both the rear axle case covers. See pic.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have it soaking in water with dish soap. I will let it sit overnight and see what it looks like tomorrow.

I just ordered a new plastic oil pan for my air cleaner. The original is completely sun rotted. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to clean it up. Is there a good way to clean the air cleaner? Can I take it apart? What type of cleaner would you use? thanks!!

I had to take off the entire radiator and housing... which is really easy BTW. The shroud comes off with it. Also, I think I could of installed the fan either way. I assume these fans pull air through the radiator right? Seems to be working fine. It does seem to take a little more cranking...

Thanks to the help of people on this forum, I found a replacement fan for my B6000. Can I do this without taking off the radiator? It looks like I will have to remove the fan shroud. Thanks!

The PO disconnected the oil pressure switch on my b6000 and removed the bulb. The tractor fires up nice with no visible issues. I know enough not to run it very long since I dont know the status of the oil pressure. Since I dont have a bulb, I have taken a meter to the switch while it is...
