    sounds like the starter cog staying out, the starter solenoid throws out the cog to mesh with the flywheel, used to hapen all the time with Aussie Ford Falcons.     Does anyone have any idea what the safe operating side angle is, I mean what sideways angle is within safe limits. Scared myself a few times, and just wondering if im a woose or if I'm treading the fine line between upright and not upright !

    So I have the starter motor off and its definantly a welsch plug - could someone with a parts manual please find a part number for me. I have a service manual and ops manual on the way (CD off ebay) but no parts manual.
