Cleaning up the ugly appearance and loose wiring of the Land Pride 3rd Function on an L-series

Couldn't stand the 'designed at 5pm on a Friday' parts-bin appearance of the Land Pride 3rd function kit on my L2501, or the wire dangling down just begging to be caught on a tree branch or something else. Really beefs up the feel of the stick, bringing it out to about 1" thick, and seals...

I found the highest temp when I was feathering the pedal on the HST (I know you have gear) to see only about 200rpm of bog. If I let is bog as far down as what you're seeing, my temps actually went down. Not sure how you could duplicate with a gear-drive using just elevation change. Ideally...

It's very dependent on material choice and how tuned your print processes are. With good layer adhesion and the right materials., the parts are quite strong. I have some parts in rather high stress use cases for 5+ years that have far exceeded by expectations. I run a page and youtube channel...

mid 700's under full load seems to be running pretty 'cool', though I guess it's about what I would expect knowing the changes they made to this engine (reduced fuel and retarding spill timing). thanks for posting your results

    L2501 Modifications

Was out blowing 3 inches of snow slush this morning. Was able to load the engine real hard for some long stretches running the rear blower. Couldn't get it over 1150 degrees, and hovered around 950ish most of the time under load. Just driving around on level ground it's 300-500. Drops under 300...

Seems plausible, though mine has gotten wet quite a few times and never had an issue. They all seem to have this outer braided shield. What other styles have you seen?

When you get the probe in, compare EGT's with the same fuel setting but switch out the intake. Would be curious if it makes a difference. If it does, it would indicate it's flowing more air. I don't plan on turbo'ing at the time. Not discouraging you from doing so, but I'm happy with the...
