Car wash detergent and wash always works for me. Put a coat of car wax on it to make it easier for the next time.

No need to remove anything. Both fittings are facing down so it's hard to see. Try feeling around the bottom of where the link connects to the pivot joint. Mine didn't even have grease from the factory.

There is a black box under the dash panel with 2 rather small relay switches in it. Does not look like they are replaceable. According to the circuit diagram, that directly feeds the engine stop solenoid. Unfortunately I don't believe this part is available thru Kubota.
