    BX 2370 grease nipples

That could be it....1. I think my older B-series has one on each end of the mower lift pivot bar, but they may have eliminated it on the newer models.

    B1700 Cold weather problems

I have no trouble starting my 17 even below zero, so something is amiss. Even at zero I only need about 15 seconds of glow plug. About a quarter throttle and it roars to life. These guys will help you figure it out. Good bunch here. I do keep the tractor in the garage (unheated), but I...

    Trailer for BX2370

Toeknee, Please don't undersize your trailer! That's not Uncle Bob's Craftsman there. :D You're towing a substantial investment as well as a large liability. The trailer must contain the load in an accident, and that single axle trailer is going to fold up like a suitcase with 2500 lbs...

    FEL Safety Boot

Depending on your needs, a safety stand may be an alternative. I used mine to hold up the FEL while I pulled the lower cylinder pins last weekend. This is an example for a pretty low cost.... http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-underhoist-safety-stand-60759-9924.html

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Over the weekend, I picked up a deer in the yard (car must have hit it) and carried it across the field, pulled the mower deck off and used the loader to set it on the storage cart (wheeled so I can move it around the shop as needed), and gave it some maintenance before the snow sets in. She...

    SCUT or CUT

I would go with the B, as you mentioned woods and live in snow country. The higher ground clearance is very valuable when you start driving in deep snow or bouncing around the woods. But be sure to consider your physical abilities too though....in 5 or 10 years are you going to want to climb...

Lift arm swivel balls rusted to the pin

PB Blaster is a much better penetrant, should the WD not be enough. Just let it work for several hours and soak it good. Best of luck!

    Broke my new BX

You didn't by chance get the optional 'bush removal device' that extends past the front of the tractor did you? Guaranteed to solve the problem for good. ;)

    When to shut down

Ditto to Wolfman. I have no problem letting it idle for 10 minutes if I know I'll be back on the tractor. In cold weather it could be even longer; warm fluids works best. The battery and starter do have finite lives, which are also a consideration. :)

    Stuck Filter Solution

Ditto on the monster channel locks [don't be tempted by the cheap imitations!]. I use them for all my filter changes also. Great for checking ball-joints on vehicles too! Always remember to oil the filter o-ring to help prevent sticking.

    B1700 hydraulic filter change Help

I believe there is only one hydraulic filter on a B1700...HST on the left, gear on the right. Starting with the B2410 they had two on the HST. Be sure to clean the screen also.

    Tractor weight and concrete floor

Stumpuller, You'll be fine. You're spreading the load across a lot of tire area. Possibly a couple sq. feet. My tool box is easily 1800lbs and sits on 4 casters of about 6 sq. inches total. No worries at all. Baddog, I have a Bendpak assymetric 10k 2 post lift. If you're putting it in...

    BX or b series

The B is a step up...literally! Consider your physical abilities too. I, like you, have deep snow that I'm moving right now (with FEL and blade), and it would probably be more difficult without the ground clearance of the B. Working in the dirt or woods it certainly helps to have the clearance.

well its now project , well lost count but its my L225 refurb.

Great job! Very nice looking tractor! :)

Trailer Break Away Kit Not Required

I've had a trailer come off, but it didn't become an orphan. I was moving slowly at the time, but the trailer came off due to the tongue letting go of the ball. My tractor was on the trailer (skidsteer trailer) and the chains held on as they should. Since the brakes are hydraulic and the...

    Moving snow

It's been a good year for snow moving! My little B does a great job with the loader and a Woods 60" blade. We seem to be getting 3" a week here in Michigan, but that's about normal if you ask me....or you can remember the 70s. :D Other than shearing off the 1" bolt on the blade (now fixed)...
