    The 100 A you talk about, is that the peak starting current or the (much lower) sustained starting current. Some well documented chargers/starters specify both. I have a 12v 50 Ah (Mondial Batteries ref 422+) battery. The starter motor is 12V 0,8 kW if I’m right, so it will take 66A to let it run...
