I have a g2160 also. Are you pressing on the brake pedal. You have to press on it for the the starter to engage. Also the kill solenoid you may have to push in it may be pushed out and did not reset all the way in. Regards

I have a G2160 with the 48" Grass collector. The discharge is in the back central. The gear start leaking so now I have to change the bearing shaft . I wonder if i can get the gear box complete as one piece or I need to order the different parts . Will have to change the bearing under the deck...
