Checking Gear box oil level FDR 1572

Just picked up a FDR 1572 and want to check the gear box oil level. The owners manual states. "Check the oil level in the gear box by removing the plug in the top of the box. Add oil if necessary into the biggest plug at the back of the box. Do not over fill!" This does not clearly explain as...

Converting B2620 to SSQA from Vevor

I am looking at converting to SSQA from current pin on set up. Titian would cost about $550 for 3/8" mounting plate for original bucket and conversion adaptors. Vevor has the 3/8" plate and adaptors for $264. They both appear to look the same. Any input on switching over to the SSQA would be...

A couple of years ago after mowing one of our fields I noticed Hyd oil pooling beneath my B2620, Oh "you know what". Ok, its a good thing I kinda like tearing stuff apart, as the tallgrass had wrapped itself around both ends of the propeller shaft destroying the bearing seals. Of course the...

    Make shift land plane

I had 12 yards of gravel delivered for my road. I asked the driver to lay it down at a 2 inch depth. I guess he decided that an 8 plus inch depth would be better. After using my box blade to cut it down and spread it out I ended up with a lot of woopedos. Not having a land plane I came up...

If you have a B2620HST and do not know this you should.

This would also apply to the B2920HST and B2320HST. The Operators Manual P. 65 does not mention removing the drain plug in the clutch housing cover. The Workshop Manual P. S-14 does indicate removing this plug to drain the transmission fluid. This might be common knowledge, but just thought I...
