    Rim Guard

Quick internet research says Ballast Star is basically calcium chloride with rust inhibitor. How well it inhibits rust remains to be questioned. I would start by getting a spray bottle of soapy water to spray around the rim/tire bead and valve stem to inspect for leaks. Quick tip, inflate tire...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks for asking, I should have tried the forks. I put the bucket back on and pulled it back, scoop, and dump several times. Appreciate the advise, this my first season composting. It's mostly a collection site for the wife's garden clean out.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished mowing late last night. So this morning, I moved a couple things back to their place after mowing. I know the importance of counter weight but today, I reminded myself why we use it. I picked up this log no problem, but trying to drive with it over uneven ground was not happening, even...

Mowing season in full swing here. Reminder to watch out for these little guys! Mom kept a close eye on me just about the whole time I was mowing.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Didn't like the look of the grass on this jump. Decided to give it a 'tune-up'. My friends call this the 'send it' jump. Sits at the top of a hill where we land on the backside. Then I dug a small drainage ditch for water run-off. A low lying part of the track, decided it was dry enough now...

Finally woke the beast from the winter slumber. Used it to move some dirt piles. Made two bigger bumps into three smaller ones. Braapp! Side note, 65hrs and still no regen. Love this thing, sips fuel. Maybe it's defective, but fuel gauge said "full" even after 3 hrs today.

    Garage door height

Try disconnecting the door from the opener and see if it opens far enough. The rails and the height of the ceiling or opener have little to do with the"travel" of the door. You need to adjust the travel opening, or get an extension kit for it to open further. In my case I ended up removing the...

    L2502 review

I have a L3902 and it doesn't go up hills in 'H' either. Does fine in 'M' where I do most of my work. Sometimes I wonder if I coulda saved a couple $K and suficed with the L3302 model. Most will say the HP is really only noticeable on PTO driven implements. I figured error on the higher HP side.

You guys are getting me excited! I'm also preparing for my first upcoming sap season. 2025 will be my first year attempting to make syrup. I'll be using a DIY 55 gallon barrel method. Starting small only 10-12 taps. We'll have to start thread in the off-topic section. Oh, and the deer isn't...

    I've decided on the L3902HST.

Congrats, I've had my 3902HST 2 seasons and have no complaints or issues with it. Only wish I used it more!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks, I used t-posts independent of the white fence you see behind it. I didn't think of using pallet forks to turn it either, planned on using the bucket. Do the forks work better?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished my tractor compost. First cut down sumac bush, ripped up the ground, smoothed out the area. Collected free pallets and tied them to fence posts. Cheap and effective. If they don't last, I'll replace as needed. The idea is, 3 stages of compost in compartments 6ft wide. Just wide enough...

    No regen yet

56hrs on my L3902, same type of use. No regens yet. I'm expecting around 75hrs from what I've read on here.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

After the 50hr service and wash, back to work. The main reason I bought the machine is to maintain dirtbike track and trails. Need to ride more, the weeds are taking over.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I did my 50hr service. When I went to discard the old filters, a magnet fell out of the hydraulic filter. I was paranoid and removed the new filter and found it did have a magnet on it already. Thank goodness I used Kubota filters. Wasted more UDT2 and made a mess. Then cleaned the barn floor...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished moving sand to fill in around my flagstone path I started 2 months ago. Last step is to seal it with polymeric sand. Kubota is helping make it's monthly payments this weekend. On the way to the sand pit I flushed out 2 fawns and their mother.

Mowed like everyone else has been doing. Lots of rain this year compared to the drought last 2 years.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

38 hrs on the 3902 and still no regen. I guess I work it hard? Always run 2k RPM and no idling. Anyways, today I used it as a power wheel barrow to move sod I tore out. Then replaced the sod with sand. Luckily I have a sand pit on the property. Kubota made short work of moving sand. Paid for...
