M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

That's not for a M4900/5700. I almost got fooled too.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

By the way, I want to thank everyone that's helped. I love fixing my own crap, the troubleshooting process, etc... These kind of forums and the people on them, help with the confidence part of tearing into something new. If anyone ever comes through La Grange, TX the beers on me.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

I'm only 45! Still want to know what killed this pump that quickly. Also, I assume all of these Chinese pumps are the same manufacture? I only chose that Amazon link based on speed.

Super tempting. Even if it's just to get me through the rebuild? https://www.amazon.com/OCTOT-3A231-82200-3A23182200-M4900DT-CAB-M5700DT-CAB/dp/B0CZ3C7317

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Well crap. Made an adapter, hooked it up, needle valve all the way open, start tractor, keep closing needle valve. Crap, needle valve is completely closed and gauge only reading 750psi at 2300 RPM's. Going to check intake side for leaks but other than that, I guess it's the pump? The local...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

I'm definitely doing a pressure check before doing anything with the pump.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

I keep forgetting how small this stuff is... I'm used to working on larger hydraulic crap. I don't do it a lot, but every couple of years we build a press or some kind of odd hydraulic machine. Anyways, yes, I'm thinking like 1.5" O-rings... Your example will obviously work perfect. I'm...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

This is part of my problem. I used to be able to "rig" stuff much better. After getting a mechanical engineering degree, I'm ruined. I want to model everything and machine tight tolerances... I don't have many counterbores, but I suppose I could find a holesaw that would probably hold an o-ring.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

I haven't taken the pipes off the top of the pump, but I assume it's going to need an o-ring groove in the plate? If so, I have to order the correct radius cutter for the lathe, or make a model of the part, get it into Fusion 360, then spit a program out for the mill. Then set it all up. I...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Adapter plate is no problem for me to make, but I'm too busy to machine something right now. I'm going to go by the hydraulic shop tomorrow. It looks like a BSP with o-ring for a seal.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Striking out again. I ASSumed the hard tubing coming off the pump into the 3 point case/axle was a JIC fitting, it's not. It has come kind of rubber looking feral. I'm hoping the fitting it goes into is o-ring boss. Trying to confirm that after lunch, before I tear it apart further.

Perfect, make sense to me. I think we have all of this at the shop. Will look in the morning. Thanks again for your help.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

The sound came from the front. I'm assuming the pump area since the pressure line isn't hooked to the loader. I can tell when the relief valve is doing something as when I back it all the way out, like to a 100psi, I can hear a change in the engine. When I screw it in a little, which only...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Well now I'm even more confused. I took the main relief valve out again, disassembled it, put it back together and in the tractor. Started it back up, still have the gauge hooked to the "in" port hose. Had it running for a couple of minutes while messing with the adjustment of the relief...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

About 99.9% sure. Here is valve I took out and inspected. And yes, I hooked the gauge directly to the hose. Not sure where to go from here. Is there another relief valve in the 3pt system? I'm hesitant to mess with the pump because I think I'll just end up with the same result.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Well crap. Took everything apart and lightly pressure washed all the dirt off. Took apart the relief valve and saw no smoking gun. Cleaned everything and reassembled with hydraulic fluid. Same situation. Any suggestions? I just don't see how a pump would die that quick. The day before...

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Well the "In Hose" is reading the same as yesterdays reading at the power beyond, ~700psi. I'm going to take seat off and sheet metal so I can get to the rest of this crap easier.

The lines on my loader are hooked up exactly as in the manual that came the tractor from the previous owner. Attached are pictures of my loader and the pictures from the manual.

M4900 Hydraulic Problems. Power steering, PTO are OK. Everything else weak

Hmm, this thread from 10 years ago has me concerned about what port is the power beyond. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/kubota-mixup-on-pump-line-hose-and-power-beyond-line-hose-installation-to-loader.323149/ I have the manual that came with the loader from the original owner...
