Hello leeds, welcome to the site and thank you for signing up! The official ballast box supplied by Kubota for BX and B series models is the B8160 ballast box with a list price of $186 and weight of around 102 lbs. But, you are right to suspect that with a front end loader you will need...

Off Topic: Redshoe is that a halibut I see in your profile?

Wow - another good sized fish. Food chain is right! :D Looks like everyone's hungry! Here in BC when the salmon come in to spawn, I've been on a river a few times, literally tripping over fish trying to make their way upstream, sometimes in water that is less than a foot deep. For jokes I've...

Need help identifying what you've got?

Hey Steve, welcome to the site! I am not surprised to hear that you are getting the cold shoulder from your local dealership. Kubota has struck the fear of God into future gray market owners and dealers alike with horror stories. We're here to help. I don't have that serial number information...

Recommend a loader for my B6100

I'll tell you what - that socket was ugly as hell as far as sockets go. There I've said it. But, it got the job done and it was accurate. 46mm is hard to nail and he got it right on. Even with the socket we still had to loosen the block from the frame, support it on blocks and jacks so the...

    Paint Color ?

Hey there benelli, Yep, that looks like the right part number, 70000-73712 for a quart of Bright Orange II. This orange shade is the newer of the two oranges that Kubota's come out with and I think it looks a little "redder" than the previous orange, Orange Enamel. We have listed on our...

Managed to scratch up some pictures. This isn't me in the photo (a fishing buddy instead) because I do not have any of me on this computer, but it shows the size of that fish. Not huge as far as sturgeons go but still a put up a good fight.

Shoe, I was looking through the profile pictures as I do now and then, and I see you've updated your profile pic with what looks to be a good sized fish: The pic is small but it looks like a halibut as big as you are! Nice catch! I myself get a bit of fishing done every now and then...

Any other hobby farmers out there???

Indeed! An excellent rant I think. :D I've heard that quite a bit actually - regarding the Kubota being the smallest piece of equipment on site. They are well suited for tasks that require a bit more... nimble piece of equipment. Here in BC in the Okanagan where all the vineyards and orchards...
