    First Post-I took the plunge

Skidding logs up hill with a quad sure sounds like it would suck ash. Congrats on the new work horse and be safe on those hills.

    L3600 not charging

I had a feeling it was your alternator lol. Glad you got it figured out and can put it back to work.

    New Pallet Forks

You’ll definitely be cutting it pretty close for the safety police depending on how for out from the pivot point your lifting. As mentioned above ground level or slopes will have a part in it also. I think ballast weight is always a good idea. Ballast box might be worth considering. If you’ve...

Using QA pallet forks on 3PT

Lol I actually thought those were frames to build your carry all on. No idea it was for using as is. Lol. I think it would have been better if the angle wasn’t peppered with holes. Learn something new every day. I e always thought of a carryall like a big tool rack or large box hanging off the...

Using QA pallet forks on 3PT

Can you post a link to a carry all that will allow him to pick up pallets from the back for 250 or less without fabrication? I get ones can be made to work but unless you have the extra forks and steel kicking around I hardly doubt your gonna make it for less the 600 all in. Not I’m my area at...

Using QA pallet forks on 3PT

I like it jay and now kinda want to build something like this although I don’t have a need per say. The op was looking to use his already owned forks on his 3ph. I definitely would build my own if it were me looking to accomplish this but that’s not for everybody or possible for everyone. Im...

Using QA pallet forks on 3PT

I don’t own or haven’t built one but I can’t say I have ever seen a carryall that could pick up pallets also. Any pics of your home built one and how it’s able to pick up pallets and still be a carryall.

I felt bad for the yellow pencil as well. Lol

Using QA pallet forks on 3PT

Pretty sweet little conversion. Hydronic top link makes your manual tilt a non issue. Don’t really have a need for this myself but could see how some of the smaller tractor owners or people looking to move pallets from the back would find this very helpful. Not really sure how you guys are...

What is the best way to fix boom bucket cylinder mount

Ouch that hurts to look at but as 85hokie said it’s fixable. I’d definitely think a few other spots might be outa spec but maybe you get lucky. Find yourself a reputable welder if you don’t already know one.

    L3700SU

What keeps bringing ya to the glow plugs? I wouldn’t think a glow plug is what’s stopping it from starting. Obviously maybe in cold weather but now? Could try pulling fuse or disconnecting glow plugs altogether then try starting to see if they are drawing to much or changes anything. No clue if...

    Tractor advice for 40+ acers

Looks like it’s the s series of it a 2017. the emax 25hst ended 2016. But both used the Daedong 1.0 diesel motor. The newest is the L series that started in 2019 and has a Kukje 1.2l 3-cyl diesel.

    Tractor advice for 40+ acers

Well unless your stepping up your posted budget it’s gonna be hard to find anything but a tym or mahindra that’s mid sized for 10-15k and not beat to poop. mahindra 2017 emax25? Looks like a emax25s and 25l are available. S model only ran 2017-2019 and the L is still being produced. Both...

    Looking at a l2850

I also don’t mind to pull an empty trailer home and I’d probably like the price before I drove to look. Or be ready for 4500 and see how it goes.

    Looking at a l2850

I almost never would and I sure wasn’t implying anybody do. To be fair that 2021 m62 and this best case 1992 l2850 is a difference of 30 years. Not really comparable. I sold my ford to a fellow and never saw him once. He was far away like 7-8hrs round trip. Gave him a bunch of video plus over...

    Looking at a l2850

Sure don’t sound good. At least some of those 5500 hours weren’t so easy if they broke the 3ph lol. You can bet a lack of maintenance considering their fix’s and troubleshooting plus non owner operated. If after it’s 30 min it shuts down will it start right back up or does it have to cool down...

Accidently left parking brake on BX23

Not sure using the rear ballast as your parking brake is the best idea but I guess it works better then no break. I would from time to time forget the parking break in my old Ford 5600 but you wouldn’t get a foot of travel without noticing. I would think if your able to not notice your parking...

    Tractor advice for 40+ acers

could buy the bx then start doing tasks and put it to the test. If you find it’s not big enough for your liking resell it and get a bigger one. If it is a good deal then I don’t think you’ll loose much in say a year of ownership. Might even make a few bucks. Given your price your gonna only...
