    COVID-19 Stuff

I'm older than you and I don't share your tape measure analogy.

    Camp build

It's good to see that you were able to make that progress on the roof. I know that you are pushing & trying to get er done before deer season. Yup, I too am dodging the rain and trying to squeeze jobs in between the rain showers.

    Daily Chuckle

A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the counter and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash drawer the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register which the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and fled, leaving the $20 bill...

    Ball Peen Hammer

Normally no hitch pins need "driving" out. Proper alignment is the key to hooking/unhooking implements. Notice above I said "tap". Also hitch pins are hardened so they will not be deformed nor mushroomed with normal use.

    Ball Peen Hammer

My choice for a "tractor hammer" is not a hammer. It's a 2lb hatchet. I can tap a pin out and also cut a vine, etc. that has wrapped itself around something that I don't want it wrapped around.

    COVID-19 Stuff

The universal way to solve any problem is to form a committee and make a study. Most of the "studies" are circles, dead ends, and rabbit holes and also most can be interpreted in various ways and not necessarily as the author(s) intended. The committee's first objective is to protect the...

A magnificent creature. That water fountain picture is awesome. I wonder where it was when we were visiting Vancouver Island a year ago?

    B6000 injector problem

Sorry I am of no help with your injector woes but.... I agree with Flip. WaterDisplacement40th formula is a marketing success story for a marginal product. As he also mentioned, a 50-50 mix of Acetone and ATF is one of the best penetrants. As soon as whatever is stuck moves, switch to 100% ATF.

    Barn Fire-Bad Day

After seeing that smoke I was surprised to see anything salvageable on the inside.

    COVID-19 Stuff

Yes that is correct. I now and have always worn an N95 mask while sawmilling. The exhalation valve could be covered on the inside of the mask to somewhat filter/restrict the outflow, but it would need to be fairly thin. Too much and the breath moisture would saturate the mask rendering it...

    COVID-19 Stuff

Our law enforcement personnel have been placed in a situation where they are having to defend their own lives while trying to do their intended job. They are all individuals so there will always be "bad apples" but the great majority are also our neighbors with families. They have no way of...

Sheep, everyone does not have a touch screen. Some of us still scroll. I am active on other forums and none of them display an irritating "verification" box. No other action on this forum requires a verification. Click on a button and it does what the box says. I have repeatly said that I...

    COVID-19 Stuff

The only non-confrontational mask option is individual choice. If individuals want to march in the streets, congregate at the beach, or rub elbows in a bar, that is their option. Yes C-19 cases numbers will continue to rise, but no one can fix ignorance, disrespect, nor complacency. Our...

    Sudden death of White Oak?

I also have a Stihl 028 AV that has and still serves me well. My go-to "big" saw is a Stihl MS362 and I alternate between a 22" and a 25" bar e/w a skip tooth chain depending upon what I am sawing.
