    Block heater ?

Was asked when I bought my BX1880 if I wanted a block heater installed. I turned it down. Used to own my own rig and never plugged it in but used the additive to keep from gelling up. That was late 90’s. Don’t know anything about the diesel engine these days. Was that a mistake to turn down...

    1st service?

Since I’m new to owning a tractor, thinking of letting the dealer do my 50 hour service. By the time next service is due, I’ll know more about my tractor. Anyone else do this?

Tire pressure according to the manual

The book calls for 17 PSI for front tires. The sidewall of tire states max 38 PSI. Got my class II delivered today, 15 yards of it. With 17 PSI, a half bucket load flattens my tires to the rim. So I bumped the air up to 30 PSI. Works fine now. But am I going to regret this down the road?

    3 point back blade ?

Been reading folks using ballast box on back of their tractor for ballast. My BX1880 is fairly small so thinking of a 3 point back blade for ballast. Is anyone using a back blade for ballast? Only time I think I will need ballast is in the winter when plowing. The snow pusher I ordered is 300...

    Rear axle lock ?

Read the manual a few times but didn’t see it. My 1880 has the lock rear differential option. Have noticed 4 wheel drive is not true all 4 wheels lock all wheels. So, can I engage the differential lock and the 4 wheel drive at the same time? Thanks.

    SPL0548 snow pusher

Have a BX1880. Been looking around for a used snow pusher but everything is 6 feet wide or more. Am afraid if I go larger than the 4 foot SPL0548, I’ll have issues pushing snow with a larger amount of snow with the bigger ones. The 4 foot one should match up to my tractor. Or am I thinking wrong...

    Snow plow for BX1880

Have a couple day’s experience on my new 1880 that has exceeded my expectations. Am already researching my 1st attachment for next winter. Snowplow. Would love a snow blower but out of my price for the new future. Want to be able to disconnect my bucket and hook right in a snowplow. prefer to...
