Stalling tractor when using posthole digger

It is more likely that you are bending something on the auger. You may want to finesse the auger by lifting out of the hole before the auger pulls into the dirt and you stall out. Using an auger in hard pack dirt or rocky soil is an art form. If you do not pull the auger out of the hole...

That green greasy snot is probably algae. That is also something that biodiesel is prone to building up because of the greater hygroscopic nature of bio fuels.

    L2502 Overheating

Check for debris in the cooling fins of the radiator. Use air to blow out the whole radiator area. One of the most common causes for overheating is debris blocking the airflow through the radiator.

    A truck and trailer thread.

I am not sure if we are closer to you than Nebraska or not but maybe you want to check out this place? They have all kinds of trailers. I don't know if they have what you are looking for but they have a lot of trailers...

Wow, I have never seen an E rated tire do that.

    A truck and trailer thread.

I have seen that same thing happen to my trailer tires before. They were C rated. I changed to an E rated tire and never had another problem. According to the weight of the wood you are getting, it should be roughly about 3 cords. How much are you paying for that?

Although not exactly like the cars earlier in this thread, this Ford Model T was assembled and driven in 2 minutes and 50 seconds.

Two of the problems with bio-diesel are it's acidic nature and the fact that it is extremely hygroscopic. The feed stock used to produce biodiesel is what causes acidity in the finished product. Not all biodiesel is inherently acidic but one cannot know for sure what feed stock was used. If it...

In my state they used to have to label any pump that had B5 or above. However, some years ago they changed the law so that they only have to label B20 and above. If you want to know what you are getting for sure, you will have to ask the manager what they are ordering. Even then it is...

You may get arguments from some people concerning bio fuels but they are recognized as unstable by most government agencies that depend on their emergency fleets being dependable. Even the US Army used only straight non-bio fuels when I was in the service. I don't know what they use these days...

BX Series (w/ mower deck) Fuel Filter Replacement

I have owned my tractor since March of 2013 and I only had to replace the fuel filters once since I bought it. I have almost 2000 hours on it now. I am honestly wondering if two fuel filters are really necessary. Whenever I have to replace them again, I am seriously thinking about bypassing the...

They also did the same thing in Korea when I was there in the 80's and 90's.. They did not flush paper in the toilet. That makes sense to me since most of the country had septic systems onsite. The cities may have been different but I really don't know because I never spent time in the cities. I...

40,000 pounds of ribeye at the low end is $12.00 per pound. That is $480,000 worth of ribeye steak gone up in smoke. If those were prime cut it could be double that amount of money.

EDC question ( Asking for a friend)

You must take into account age, physical condition, infirmities such as arthritis, physical strength of hands, and how familiar one is with a weapon. I use a snubby wheel gun these days. I use the S&W PD340 for primary EDC and a Ruger LCP 380 for backup. I do not carry extra ammo, I carry an...

pin hole rear wheel on BX 2370

I would replace the wheel if it were mine. If it developed a pinhole in one place, it likely will develop another pinhole someplace else in the near future. Also, if it were mine, I would replace both rear wheels and try a different ballast solution. I use -20 degree windshield washer fluid in...
