    Size of rear wheel studs?

Take the lug nut to a hardware store. Most have size & pitch gages to identify the threads. They might have a die to chase your threads on the stud.

Lubrication of LA765 FEL on L4701

I took that to mean the linkage on the 3 pt. between the operating arms & control arms.

    Hills

This is enough tilt for me. It makes me lean uphill & increases my “pucker factor”. I’m sure the tractor could handle more, but that is my safety margin. It does not look like much. I’m sure the comfortable amount of tilt is different for each operator. You have to find yours.

New grapple & brush guard project

You will like the solid plate. Sticks will slide along it & out of the way. Mine is similar, but not near as pretty (anymore).

Plastic PTO Guard - Chain it ? - or Let it spin..?

I chain my guards to keep them from spinning. You can’t have to much safety.

    Anybody use JB weld?

My plan is to use this cap & JB Weld it into the boss on the tractor. I will wrap the bolt with Teflon tape so I can remove the bolt if needed. The cap gives me 3/8” more threads. I believe the key to success lies in the bond of the cap to the tractor, by the JB Weld. I will thoroughly clean...

    Anybody use JB weld?

I tested D2Cats suggestion of forming threads with the JB Weld use a bolt wrapped with Teflon tape. It worked. The bolt released very well, leaving very good threads. I tested the strength of those threads & was not pleased. The 1/4-20 bolt stripped the threads pretty easy. I tapped the JB Weld...

    Anybody use JB weld?

I should have supplied pics of the parts with my original posts. The 3 wire bundles are pretty tight against the side of the motor & run over the oil filter. I do not believe I could get them around/under the oil filter without damage. I am not sure why they have the additional support. If...

    Anybody use JB weld?

I was cutting trees in my pasture. I went to pick up several with the grapple. 1 slipped & ended up hitting the front tire, then rolling against the side of the motor. Not sure how it missed the plastic side cover & hood, but did break off a bolt that was holding a bracket with 2 wire bundles in...

    Feed oats

I plant (broadcast) feed wheat in my fall wildlife plots with very good results. The feed wheat instead of seed wheat, was recommended by my local COOP to save money. Occasionally, there is a bag of feed oats mixed in with the wheat. I plant the oats & they grow fine. Deer really like them.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

It may not be a “Pro Saw” (MS311), but gets the job done with money to spare. I’m just getting started on 65 acres of hedge & locust trees. This hedge tree is done. The next 15 to 20 trees will be in the 6”-10” dia. range (perfect for the MS250). Then, I will hit a bigger, twisted, nasty hedge...
