Cold Starting Starting L 3130 Help

Phil when you do get her fired up does the tractor have good power? Check your air cleaner element, fuel filter, at those temperatures your engine oil Wt. is critical and I'd suggest using the Super UDT in your transmission. Running straight K1 should flash and fire if its getting to the...

    L35 Glow Plug ?

I'm really sticking my neck out here but I bet its the Glow Plug controller and You may want to bypass the relay and timer and make your own set-up to manually use the glow plugs only as needed. I have done this a few times. Use a heavy relay/solenoid (the existing one may work, or a new 80-100...

    1982 L245DT crankshaft splines

Milo I'm in agreement with Ed assuming a 20 GPM pump is mounted to your crankshaft. This is getting so interesting but expensive too. I had to knock the dust off my Hedland Fluid Power Data book and look at the formulas ( refreshing!) I want you to think outside the box ( open minded ). Open the...

    Tranmission or drive train noise

Ah ha you have discover the noise with a process of elimination and a good Son-in- Law willing to help.. eventhough I don't have a break down of your exact transmission the attachment is representative of what you'd see internally with the cover off. If it takes hand pressure against first gear...

    Bullet hole in filter screen?

Hi fig and yes aqua and I will wear you out with jokes on how this happened. If it was shot and [it certainly looks like it] I would think it would have gone out the other side. b8200 rod bearings

fj for short... I'd go with a reman for two reasons. (1) it's a seasoned core ( been shocked and heated many cycles ) (2) once the original nitrided micro-sheen surface is machined away the hardened chrome is rockwell tested { repreutable re-manufacturers} and matched with undersized bearings so...

    Tranmission or drive train noise

Here's a thought ( and I could be all wet on this one ) check your torque on the front rim lug nuts to axle hub per operators manual, choke your rear wheels and use the FEL to raise the front wheels off the ground and try to roll the right wheel in the forward direction listening for the your...
